Greta Van Susteren has interviewed many US and world leaders while traveling the world covering breaking stories. She has been to North Korea 3 times, the Ukrainian war zone twice, Iraq, Afghanistan, Venezuela, and many other countries. Her high-profile interviews include President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, Mike Tyson, and Brett Favre.

Prior to joining Newsmax, Greta was most recently host of Gray TV’s nationally syndicated Sunday political affairs program Full Court Press and was the station group’s Chief National Political Analyst. During the height of the coronavirus pandemic in spring 2020, Greta additionally co-hosted Full Court Press Now which was 36 daily evening specials focusing on the coronavirus.

While working Gray TV, Greta simultaneously anchored Voice of America’s weekly television program Plugged In which covered foreign policy, US domestic affairs, and broadcasted worldwide in 48 languages. She was the reporter and narrator for the station’s documentary “Displaced”, which followed the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh and won medals in 3 categories at the 2019 New York Film festivals, among other awards. She also testified before Congress about the Rohingya crisis having traveled to the region 4 times.

In 2002, Greta joined Fox News where she anchored On The Record, which remained the highest rated cable news program in its prime time slot for the entire 14 ½ years it aired.

Prior to Fox, Greta worked at CNN for 7 years where she started out as a legal analyst then became co-host of CNN’s daily legal program Burden of Proof. She went on to host the channel’s prime time news and analysis show The Point with Greta Van Susteren. Greta won several awards while at CNN, including American Bar Association’s Presidential Award for Excellence in Journalism and National Headline Award.

Greta’s work has taken her around the world to places such as Mongolia, Tinian, Kuwait, Sudan, Myanmar, India, Liberia, and many more. She has interviewed a similarly diverse list of leaders worldwide – Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, President Barak Obama, President Bill Clinton, President George H. W. Bush, President Jimmy Carter, VP Dan Quayle, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto - and has covered many natural disasters on location.

Greta was on the Board of Directors at the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation and has been 4 times dubbed one of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women by Forbes magazine. She is the 2016 recipient of the IAC (Israeli American Council) “Honest and Fairness” award.

Greta was recently awarded the Order of Merit, III Degree by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for her work on “Putin’s Atrocities: Horror in Ukraine”, a weeklong series covering the war on Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees. She has been to the war zone twice.

Before her journalism career, Greta practiced law for 10 years in both trial courts and appellate courts, including US Courts of Appeal and State Supreme Courts.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Greta received a bachelor’s degree with distinction in economics. She earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law in 1979 and a Master of Law from the school in 1982. She was and adjunct professor at Georgetown from 1984-1999 and taught classes in Trial Practice, Advanced Civil Procedure, Evidence, and Media & The Law.

She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, John Coale, and 6 pets.

Rob Schmitt

A native of Carmel, Indiana, Schmitt graduated from the prestigious Indiana University Ernie Pyle School of Journalism, quickly proving his talent for digging up scoops and breaking major news stories. Most recently Schmitt anchored “Fox & Friends First.”

After a brief attempt at playing professional baseball (he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates), Bolling started his working career as a commodities trader, rising quickly to the most active independent natural gas trader in the world. He was named among Trader Monthly’sTop 100 and received their Man of the Year Award.

He served on the board of the New York Mercantile Exchange for five years and helped orchestrate the Merc’s IPO, which in 2006, was the largest IPO in history.

In 2016, he published his New York Times best seller Wake Up America and followed that success with another best seller, The Swamp, an exposé of Washington’s culture of corruption.

Greg Kelly is a television personality, journalist and military veteran. He was the co-host of Good Day New York on Fox 5 for almost a decade, reporting the news and interviewing notable figures from the world of politics, law enforcement, education and entertainment.

Prior to hosting Good Day New York, Kelly was an anchor and correspondent for the Fox News Channel (FNC). Kelly joined FNC in 2002 and went on to serve as a White House correspondent from 2005-2007. He has also covered the war in Iraq extensively, including four long-term assignments in Baghdad.

Before joining FNC, Kelly was a reporter for New York 1 News, where he covered New York City politics and the September 11th attacks. He started his career in journalism as an anchor and reporter for News Channel 34, the ABC affiliate in Binghamton, New York.

Prior to this, Kelly spent nine years as an attack pilot in the United States Marine Corps. He specialized in flying the AV-8B Harrier jet. During his military service he amassed 158 aircraft carrier landings and flew over Iraq in Operation Southern Watch, enforcing the United Nations imposed “No-Fly Zone.” A licensed commercial pilot, he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves.

Rob Finnerty

Host of Wake Up America

Prior to joining Newsmax, Rob served as an anchor and reporter on CBS affiliate WTSP in Tampa, Florida, covering everything from major hurricanes to Florida’s transition from a swing state to a red state with two Republican senators and a Republican governor for the first time in over a century.

Rob studied communications at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He was hired out of college by WEEI Sports Radio in Boston, hosting the Red Sox Pre-Game Show and the Celtics Halftime Show. He made the transition to television as a sports anchor and reporter at NBC’s NECN, where he covered the biggest events in sports, including the World Series and the NBA Finals.

With his real passion being news and politics, Rob was tapped as morning anchor at KBAK/KBFX in Bakersfield, California, in 2013 and he quickly became the go-to talent for political coverage.

He also was the only local reporter allowed into the Santa Monica, California apartment where notorious South Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger lived while he was on the run from the FBI.

In addition, he worked as morning anchor and host of KCTV’s daily talk show "Better Kansas City," where he interviewed celebrities, newsmakers and other movers and shakers.

Sharla McBride joins Newsmax as co-host of ‘Wake Up America’ alongside Rob Finnerty. Sharla comes to Newsmax from CBS affiliate, WUSA-TV in Washington D.C. where she was a news and sports anchor.

Sharla also worked as a sports anchor at NBC Sports Philadelphia. She brings 17 years of professional experience to Newsmax, having also worked as a main evening news anchor and sports anchor at WNEP-TV, ABC affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA before moving to our nation’s capital at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Born and raised in Austin, Sharla is a proud Texan, who began her broadcast journalism career in her home state, as a reporter at KTXS-TV. Sharla chose to stay in the South for college, studying International Affairs and Foreign Policy with a concentration in broadcast journalism at the University of Georgia, and roots for her Dawgs every chance she gets! Sharla resides outside NYC with her husband, Todd, and stepdaughter, Maris.

Shaun Kraisman & Emma Rechenberg

Host of National Report

Shaun Kraisman, an Emmy-nominated television news anchor, reporter and host, joined Newsmax in January, 2020. Based at the network’s New York City studio headquarters, Kraisman is currently the anchor for American Agenda, airing live every weekday morning.

Prior to being hired by Newsmax, Kraisman was a weekday evening anchor in New Orleans from 2016 through 2019. During his time in the “Big Easy,” he received two regional Emmy nominations, both for “Best Evening Newscast.”

Kraisman’s experience has taken him all over the country and around the globe. In November 2019, Kraisman had the privilege of travelling to Seoul, South Korea, teaching broadcast journalism for the Far East Journalism Conference, educating select high school seniors considering broadcast news as a career.

Prior to his work in New Orleans, Kraisman worked in Southwest Florida as a morning and noon anchor for WINK-TV in Fort Myers.

Kraisman also worked in Dayton, Ohio, for several years as an evening anchor and host of Living Dayton, an hour-long live lifestyle show.

With a Bachelor Degree in Communication from the College of Charleston and an Associate Degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting, he began his TV career on the ground floor, working in Charleston, South Carolina, as a production assistant, audio director, photographer, news reporter, and fill-in traffic anchor. While Kraisman has had serious news positions throughout his career, many may remember him from a much lighter moment, on the premiere of the 11th season of American Idol on which he was dubbed “Ryan Seacrest’s Doppelgänger.”

Kraisman’s strong passion for connecting and engaging with people carries over to the stage. He was fortunate enough to work for the Miss America Organization as a four-time host for the Miss Illinois State competition. He also served as a guest judge for the Miss Capital City competition in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kraisman served as a presenter for the 2018 Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards in Orlando.

Kraisman has also been honored to emcee several events for charitable organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, and the National MS Society. He resides in New York City.


Emma Rechenberg is an Emmy award-winning journalist who covers breaking news and politics for Newsmax TV.

She has previously reported for NBC affiliate television stations in Missouri and Minnesota. In 2018, she received the Upper Midwest Emmy Awards for her breaking news reports and weekday noon newscast. She has interviewed U.S. Senators, state governors, local lawmakers, legal analysts, medical professionals, business executives, Olympic athletes, and environmental advocates.

Emma is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri (Mizzou) — one of the top-ranked journalism schools in the nation. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and cherishes her visits with family in America’s heartland.

Bianca de la Garza is the co-host of Newsline. An award-winning, 10 time Emmy nominated journalist, de la Garza has more than 20 years in television experience. Bob Sellers & Katrina Szish

Bob Sellers is an Emmy-winning journalist with more than two decades experience covering local and national news. At WSMV-TV in Nashville, he won an Emmy in 2010 for his coverage of the historic floods that devastated the area. Bob has worked in markets such as San Antonio, Nashville Seattle, and Washington DC.

Previously at Fox News Channel, Bob anchored “Fox News Live” and reported live from Baghdad during the Iraq War. He also anchored three hours a day on CNBC following the history making financial markets and interviewing business leaders such as Jeff Bezos, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban and many others. At CNBC, he co-hosted “Today’s Business” and “Market Watch,” and filled in as anchor on “Squawk Box” and “Power Lunch.”

As a teenager, Sellers was a star athlete and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals out of high school, but did not sign. Instead, he attended the University of Virginia on a baseball scholarship, majoring in government and foreign affairs.

Bob is also author of the book, Forbes Best Business Mistakes: How Today's Top Business Leaders Turned Missteps into Success, and is on the Board of Advisors for the Media Studies Department at the University of Virginia (which he attended on a baseball scholarship). Bob and his wife Anna have been married 24 years and have twin daughters.


Katrina Szish has more than 15 years of experience as a journalist and host in news, entertainment, fashion, and pop culture. Prior to joining Newsmax in 2022, Szish created The Szish List on QVC, a panel-based style show that quickly became the highest-performing fashion series at the network.

Szish was the style correspondent for CBS News’ The Early Show, with anchor, host, and correspondent credits for ABC News Now, E!, CNN, Food Network, and TBS. She was the first on-air national correspondent for UsWeekly and InStyle magazines, and provided red-carpet coverage of the Oscars, Emmys, and Golden Globes for national broadcast networks.

A Harvard graduate, Szish worked for Vogue and GQ magazines, with stints at CNN’s political investigation unit in Washington, D.C., and CNN’s Style with Elsa Klensch in New York City. A sought-after mentor, she has been tapped by Harvard as a Professional in Residence and frequently works with young women to help them pursue their career goals.

The president consulted Morris in secret beginning in 1994. Clinton's communications director George Stephanopoulos has said, "Over the course of the first nine months of 1995, no single person had more power over the president." Morris went on to become campaign manager of Bill Clinton's successful 1996 bid for re-election as President, but his tenure on that campaign was cut short two months before the election, when it was revealed that he had allowed a prostitute to listen in on conversations with the President.
