Craig Shirley is a bestselling author, public affairs consultant, and widely sought after speaker and commentator. He has authored 3 bestsellers on former U.S. president Ronald Reagan, as well as other books which have appeared multiple times on the New York Times bestseller list. He appears regularly on many network and cable shows including Newsmax TV, FOX News, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, CNBC, C-SPAN and others. He has also written extensively for Newsmax, the Washington Post, the Washington Examiner, the Washington Times, the Los Angeles Times, Town Hall, the Weekly Standard, Politico, Reuters, Lifezette and many other publications.
Some of Craig’s achievements include being chosen in 2005 by Springfield College as their Outstanding Alumnus, and named the First Reagan Scholar at Eureka College, Ronald Reagan’s alma mater, where he taught a course titled “Reagan 101.” He is a board member at the Reagan Ranch, and Eureka College’s Board of Trustees. As a lecturer, he has spoken at the Reagan Library, the FDR Library in Hyde Park, Friends of Ronald Reagan society in Los Angeles, and the Dole Institute in Kansas. He is also a member of the Reagan Alumni Association, Friends of Friendship Fire House, the Lyn Nofziger Society, Philadelphia Society, the Fusionist Society and a former board member of the American Conservative Union.
Craig Shirley resides in Virginia with his wife, Zorine, and their four children. His varied interests include sailing, waterskiing, sport shooting, carpentry, renovating buildings, and scuba diving. His love for lacrosse led him to found the Ft. Hunt Youth Lacrosse League at which he has coached for 14 years with an overall record of 119 wins, 21 losses and 4 ties.
